I am in the market to get a nice new MacBook Pro but after some looking around I see this at the MacRumors site: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#MacBook_Pro

So should I wait for the new models to come out?
I am in no hurry so I could wait but wonder if other Mac fanatics know any other "details" on the new models?

I might have a macbook pro or two here to sell for a good price.  Just have to see what comes out in the next month or so.  Patience young grasshopper!

When are they going to release the new Pro's, is there any rumors floating out there?

Christmas early for me!
I just hope they don't sell out before I can get my hands on one.
That and the Iphone I will be all MACimized.

I have worked for an Apple VAR and as an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician for over 12 years and have formed the opinion that it is always a good idea to wait if your within a month of a Mac conference.

I usually buy about a month after the new models are out.   That way if there is a major unanticipated problem with the first revision you can avoid it (first revision of the MacBook had temp sensor failure that would look like a failed logic board, took them about a month to release second rev.).  You can also find a lot of the previous model on the market for less at that time.
