Website URL : www.electric-circus.netAdditional Extensions : GK News mod 2, frontpage slide show Custom Development: nav bar Other Features: n/a Additional Comments: used joomla 1.5, did a handy little trick with GK News mod 2 I have one mod loaded into the mainpage and gave it a date in the year 2022 and set the GK News mod 2 to show frontpage items. I then inserted another GK News mod 2 into the insert posisition but set it to not show frontpage content. this way I can have one big news article and the other 3 small on the frontpage. I will explain more if need be and if there is enough interest I will do up a tutorial as it does make joomla sites look different. please give any feedback on this site in total there was 2 days work on modding it and getting the content in place. |

I'm just digging the way you chose to customize the template. The changes to the background, the top navigation and the repositioning of the search background are all cool. Besides, I'm a house music head. I'll be sure to pass it along to some other house heads I know. The only caveat is that we all universally hate techno. Ha.

wow - I admit, I would not frequent your site, as I have no interest in the content (sorry...) BUT it's so beautifully put together and creative that I would come back to be impressed by the layout. The talent it took to create it...  it's amazing. I only hope I will be that good someday... |

cheers and Im glad you like it Im mostly good graphic design so I think that joomla and RT are good for me as it cuts out most of the coding though I am learning more and more each day my site was added here by someone http://www.cmswebshow.com/cms-showcase/joomla/electric-circus/please vote up and while your at it why not add your own site cant do anything bad to ya |

Nice job mate I found myself getting lost in your content, I like Techno used to spin myself back in the 90 and early this century. I am heavy D&B luver. Good work on your site though.

I find that RT templates are good as they stand but some times they need to be personalized
I changed the nav, the colour of the main content area and the footer.
D&B love that to but Im big into breakbeat
I help run the site for some people that I know
not all music lovers are internet friendly if you know what I mean

Greetings, I’m digging this template mod… it has 90percent of what I’m looking to do with hyperion and I’m hoping you can do a tutorial on this because it definitely shows some ingenuity on your part.
...Out of necessity I’ve just downloaded the hyperion template and began teaching myself all this stuff and learning curve can be a bit overwhelming for a novice such as myself who's busy enough editing and shooting footage…
If you can do a tutorial on this soon it will help me tremendously… and if you can’t do a tutorial at the moment would love to see if you can help me out on my project.

if you let me know what part of the template I have modded that you want the tutorial on I will do it for you and other RT members.
To do one of the site as a whole would take some thinking and I wouldn't know where to start.
