Hello,

I have been working on my own site for a long time, and then noticed a friend of mine's site looked real bad and was sorta broken, so I built him a new site for free.

He runs a fire saftey service, so can anyone guess what template I used?

LOL.  Here is the url     http://www.mandhfire.com

This site uses joomla 1.0, and has fireboard installed.  It is hosted on yahoo.

Nothing fancy, but it is my "FIRST!" real site that is pretty much finished.  I will be adding more to it later.

This took me about oh 8 - 10 hours.

Looks pretty good. I bet if you used a transparent background on the logo, it would probably go from "pretty good" to amazing. Give it a shot just to see how it turns out. Not bad for a first. Very clean and organized.

I am using a transparent image in the logo.  It shows up correctly on my ie7 and ff3.

What browser do you use?

oh, you know what... I'm at work, and we use IE6. That's my bad, it doesn't translate transoarent pngs very well. I'll have to look when I get home. Sorry about that.

Not bad. Maybe you should create a Favicon to replace the rocket theme icon in the URL bar. Its easy. You can get some info fromwww.smashingmagaine.com site. good luck
