Great news! That was all I needed to join the second (SMF) club.

Only one nagging question:
Where do I go with questions about modifying/ debugging these SMF themes?

Somewhere on this site in some hidden forum? Simplemachines.org forums?

Thanks for this new product in any case.

When you join SMF club, you get access to SMF Themes forum.

Yes, that's what the registration said, but I'm logged in now (obviously) and there is no apparent link to the SMF Forum, only the FAQ in the main forum with all of the Joomla topics. I have access to the SMF templates (I'm already using one) so it isn't an account access issue, I don't think. Would this be another area of these forums, or a separate location?

Maybe I'm just blind...

mark your account looks good.  Please try logging out and logging back in to pick up your new access.  You should see an SMF expiration under your joomla one at the top, and you should see a member oriented message on the SMF pages, plus you should see the SMF forums in here.

Cheers.

Thanks Andy. It took a few ins/outs and a cookie cleansing, but it finally showed up (Safari 2.0.4, 10.4.7). Yeah! (Oddly, I have never checked the "remember me" checkbox.) Please disregard my email on the same topic...  Embarrassed

Ad integration
« Reply #9 on: September 07, 2006, 10:48:29 AM »

I'm impressed with the quality of the SMF templates available here but since the SMF forum code is inherently hard to follow, I'd like it if the RT gurus could think of integrating advertizing zones.

Ideally, the zones should be left empty until an admin manually opens up the "template" and pastes the ad code (wether Google AdSense or otherwise). Documenting exactly where these zones are to be found would save me hours of trying to "adjust" my ads into the templated forums.

Many thanks for your help!
