Well i was just messing around inside Apple Mail and suddenly thought it would be nice if there was a command or a plugin that could go trough a string of mails all related to the same base mail.

Spot the similarity in those mails and present all mails combined into one long discussion. It would be so nice to have such a flawless big mail without all the extra quotes and stuff repeated every time a mail gets replied..

Anyone?

I don't know about Gmail - don't use it.

But I do indeed use Mail and threaded view, but it was actually an "extension" to threaded view I was looking for. Something that could go trough a whole thread, analyze it and make new "mail copy" with all the info gathered into one - removing duplicate quotes, all signatures and just present me with a nice dialog as you would see in a IM program of some sort.
