photo galleries that the end user can maintain...
« on: July 03, 2008, 07:43:24 AM »

are your non-tech clients able to maintain the photo slideshows in their joomla sites or do you do that through ongoing support? if they're doing it themselves, are you using one of RT's custome slideshows or a third party component? Don't know if I want clients to have to enter html view or turn off their editor to exit image paths.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but you might check out Phoca gallery. Finding someone that supports their free extensions more than Jan does will be hard to find.

I'm about to find out. I am using Slideshow Pro and SSP Director with a new client.

I created a screencast video outlining how to add, edit, delete, or rearrange photos in existing galleries.

Creating a new gallery would be out of the question with SSP as it requires Flash Pro.

I'll let you know how it goes.
