Speakers for iMac?
« on: June 27, 2008, 12:46:56 AM »

Just looking for some new speakers for my iMac - so preferable something to match the brushed aluminium and black bezel...
I am going for a 2-1 system or just a regular 2 system if that exists still having decent sound...

Any recommendations?

I wouldn't mind getting some speakers for my Macbook Pro as well. I use it as a DVD player and plug it into my TV. The sound on the MBP is quite good but I want MORE!!!

Try the Logitech Z-2300. VERY powerful, and surprisingly under $100.

Thanks for all the inputs..

I refused to buy new stuff and since my Logitech Z10 was not 100% compatible with my Mac I had to dig deeper to find some speakers at home..

With a lot of chlorine I was able to remove the yellow smoke colour from my old Bostons : http://www.moitah.net/bamt.jpg (not my image)..

They still look nice and the sound is still a lot more musical than new speakers.. Not loud, but quality sound and a nice bass..

Ill keep those now Smiley

I just picked up a pair of these because I wanted something more than the integrated speakers, but without a subwoofer.

They're not aluminum finish, but they sound absolutely incredible.  I also love that they have a mic and headphone jack on the front Smiley
