At last - it took ages to build and to choose RT template
« on: June 25, 2008, 04:00:23 AM »

Hello all Smiley
Every month Rocket theme is making new an really nice templates. It is very frustrating. The problem is that I used the last cuople of months trying to choose which template to use.  Roll Eyes But after several tries I ended ip with Popolus. It has everything you need for establishing a community portal. My site is combination between community and review site for Science fiction and fantasy book.
I used reviews for joomla component ( http://www.reviewsforjoomla.com) which is an easy and component to use if you are building a review site. Jom comment and myblog for my own and members comments. Community Builder, GroupJive And the best of it all : IT ALL WORKS TOGETHER Smiley.

I must admit I have been lost, but as always the nice guys at rocket theme has come to the rescue.

So please check out my website and give me some comments , critics and roses are most welcomed. And if you have the time please register and see if it works.

Thank you Nick.

I think to decide what to fill the website with is the most difficult one. Like I have both a forum and groups. That could be overkill.
But in the heat the get it all to fit and work together , functionality overshadows the need Wink.

Wonderful site. Full of rich content.

From a professional point of view, I would seriously consider installing an sef url re writing component. I suggest 404sef.

Build links and give links and keep your content updated. Soon you should have some decent organic traffic coming to your site.

Also go to www.auditmypc.com and run a site map, then go to Google and submit it.

This should get you started and help you succeed in your online business.

Thank you Ghulam,

I will follow your tip.  Cheesy But I have been a bit anxious using a sef url component.
