Man I am a newbie to JOOMLA, I have been designing interfaces for years, from small clients to big exposure clients. I finally figured out how to mess with JOOMLA and set it up, and REPLICANT is my favorite of them all. However, its not agreeing with me, I have my designs all ready, but when I change the INDEX.PHP to reflect the new art or even change a simple color code, nothing happens --- I have made the PHP changes through the JOOMLA admin and by uploading my new content using Xplorer, and nothing. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong? I am making these edits under the REPLICANT/TEMPLATES folder.
Marqus, I changed the background simply by uploading a new jpg to the file: templates/rt_replicant_j15/images/bg. Then in the Joomla control panel, under the Template Manager extension, I selected the Custom style variation, and the bg file I preferred. Worked like a charm. I didn't tweak any code, Php or css.
