Drop Down Menus in Haiku Ramblings

I'm pretty new around here, but am a paid member.

Using Haiku Ramblings as a base for a site.  Can't figure out how to get drop down menus to work.  Are drop downs part of the template or do I need to do some customization?

That template doesn't have dropdown menu functionality.

Probably easier to install a menu component from http://extensions.joomla.org

Hi, I have tried every extension there is for a drop down menu system in Haiku.  Every single one then makes my ajax header rotator not work.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do so I can continue to use this template with drop downs and have ajax?
