Left column all funkified...

I'm just getting started with my first Joomla site and if this is an obvious thing I apologize in advance for my ignorance. But the left column of my site is unaligned with text running over text and header tabs not aligning. Anyone seen this before? My site is http://phyzica.com

Move the "funkyfied" modules to the same module position of the ones showing fine (login form etc.)
