When using the com_contact component with novus template on a site running J1.5.1 the following happens :

If i dont fill out the form correctly and then submit : nothing happens (i dont get email or message feilds in red like with other templates)
If i fill out the form correctly and the submit : i receive the email but i dont get the confirmation message

so the user that trys to contact me dsent know if the message has been sent or not.

Are others having the same problem ?
Can someone who is using novus please try and see if they are experiencing the same problem ?

Is there a fix/workaround to get thinks all back into shape ?

I'm not 100% your about your reply :

When i switch to almost any other template, form validation works fine, I think its more of a javascript conflict with the javascript used for the contact  form validation. Can you double check please.
