Hi, I'm new about Joomla and Rocket products. I downloaded HiveMind. I just love it. It's what I looked for. Played with it locally using EasyPHP. Setted some things and made some changes. Then I copied same version on a remote server, installed it, copied my modified one from local pc to remote and loaded same mysql db but ... things aren't the same . There are some original data from HiveMind mixed with my data. Also things don't look the same as what I have locally.
Now this forum has tons of pages and tried to locate the answer but wasn't able. Would appreciate if anyone could explain me the correct way to export files in order to have remotely same things made locally. Thanks
Maybe I'll better post the same on the HiveMind forum that probably is more suitable.
Thanks again

I think rocketthemes are the best themes for joomla and also very easy to install.

Hi, I am new to this....I downloaded Dimensions "full Joomla 1.5.6 install as well as the Dimensions template and demo sample content allowing you to easily deploy a replica of the Dimensions demo site. (Only for use as a NEW Joomla install). (08-13-2008 - Updated to Joomla version 1.5.6)" and uploaded to my server but got an error message...Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package. Do I have to uninstall the existing template first and get something else?

Only for use as a NEW Joomla install...
The Rocket Launcher contains a full install of Joomla plus the template and the sample data if you choose to install it as well.
You need to do a clean install on a new database, it can't be added to an existing site.
If you don't want to start fresh, you can download just the template and apply it to your existing site.

If you're applying the template to an existing install, be sure you've downloaded the template and not the Rocket Launcher package.
When you install, don't unzip it, just install it as you would any other Component of Module.
Extensions > Install / Uninstall > Browse > Upload File and Install

Applying to a current install?
Are you using the correct file for the version you have?
Are you sure you're trying to upload the template file an not one of the other files, e.g., the RocketLauncher?

Here are some tips:
1) open the template locally and look in the images folder. Turn on thumbnails or something so you can get an idea of the images that make up the template. If you intend to change something that is contained in an image, you need to open up the source PNG in firweorks and get to work editing it.
The main problem I'm experiencing is that it's hard to locate in the source code the paths of the images and components I want to modify. The code seems to contain just a lot of PHP commands instead of the external file names.I have some CSS and HTML know-how,but no programming experience.Do I need to study PHP for months only in order to change a header?
I'm already missing my old static site...
