Ugly Kid Joe Fan Site - Extremities 2
« on: August 20, 2007, 06:45:50 AM »

Ive created an Ugly Kid Joe Site - (yeah the now defunct heavy metal band from the early to mid 90's) based on the Extremities 2 template.  I still need to add a few things and neaten up the graphics and text a but, but overall im pleased with the look.  The grungy look seems to work.

Thanks

Adrian...

Looks good, 2 remarks:
- don't start the video automatic.  I like do decide for myself if I want to see some video Wink
- don't center the text.  It's easier to read when left aligned.

Fair points - thanks, stopped the auto start.
I have left justified the text.  I did that originally, but centered the google ad and forgot to put in a </center> tag.

I use to love this band when I was at college and was inspired when I saw an old Video on YouTube and checked to see what domains where available.  Its just a bit of fun, I hope I dont get into too much trouble with the record company.

Maybe add more space between the lines of the white text.  Now it seems so compressed.

My favorite song: everything about you.. tatata tada tadadada Wink

Yes, I agree, the text needs sorting out, it doesnt look quite right.  I will get back to that one when I have added all the content Smiley

Nice site - I saw those guys play at a party in Santa Barbara before they went big time.

What video component do you use for the front page?

Thanks.

Nice!

I agree, this template really fits the band. My old hair-metal cover band use to do a few of their songs (around '92). Fun times, this is takin' me back. Smiley
