Menu Icons

I've noticed that a lot of sites have icons next certain menu items, (a small picture of a house next to a house, for example) and I was wondering if anyone might know how to achieve this?

You do that in Admin > Menu > mainmenu > a menu item

There is an option on the side to add an icon.

Thanks James.  I've tried doing that, but for some reason it's not working.  Additionally, when I go to >Admin >Menu Manager >maiinmenu >menuitem, In the drop down in parameters, I'm only seeing jpgs for one folder.  In the media manager section, there is more than one folder.  Why can't I see more of them?

It only finds images in the images/stories directory.

Thanks James!  I guess that's where I will need to place my images.  Still can't figure out why the icons don't show up next to my menu items.
