In a strict sense I don't like encrypted code. But as a developer I see the need for it at times for people to maintain their income, because so few people give when they don't have to.
In a perfect world encryption wouldn't have a place however.
As for non GPL code. I don't care what license things run on TBH. I generally don't cut and paste other people's code but I like to learn from it. I also don't mind sharing my own for that same reason.
I think though that the extremists on both sides are ruing it for everyone.
Does that answer your question?
EDIT: You will notice I take shots at all sides. I am trying to be fair and even about it as I can see benefits and flaws for both.

I don't care either.  I fixed the toons, but I am not wasting any time on the rokslide. When I feel like it I will put in my shapechanger module with a note to upgrade to FF if you use IE. |
