Not sure if this has been posted about. But if you have IE 7 running on a PC you can now have IE 6 and previously released versions for testing your script... This is by far the easiest method I found since Microsux were so kind to prevent IE running standalone... http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IEI have installed IE 6 and IE 5.5 only, No errors were found... Handy when making sites using PNG images and the like.....or just trying to stick to the rules, clean simple CSS.... (Not that I know the difference yet) No doubt soon enough the open community will have DX10 for XP as well// Regards Mitch

IF someone can tell me how to install the latest flash plugin with this version of IE6 i'll be grateful. Keeps telling me that active-x controls are not enabled. I've set the security access to lowest, and even added adobe.com to my trusted sites list. What else is needed to be done to get this ridiculous browser to understand that i want to install flash?

Damn, every click on Adobe in IE6 makes horrid popups. I get the same errors yet I still see Flash? Maybe it joins with IE7 with some plugins

It is a great concept but sometimes it is better to have the browser in question when debugging extensively. I could never get that thing to work technology, argh!

I have used only IE6 and its plug ins work ok (I reinstalled after seeing what IE 5.5 looked like uugh!) I do get "Unusual" interactions with IE when in use like Changing URL's sometimes fails to work or the thing just crashes. Another thing I thought about (Conspiracy!!!) Microsofts drivers have begun to degrade the system, DVD no longer working (Both of them on 4 installs, working fine with Ubuntu) and I get Blue screens at random....just bang! Crashed! That has been going on for some tme since VISTA was on sale....it could just be my imagination though! But without the recent drivers, everything is sweet!

Firefox has an extension to allow for IE tabs (I am assuming IE6 and IE7). What that means is IE 7 will run inside Firefox "as a tab" Its no solution to this thread but handy just the same... There are 2 or maybe 3 versions (I have seen 2) Here is one https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1429

I had that extension but it blows... However, I do have a good little addon for this Multi IE. I have the option to "Open Link in" IE6, IE7 and Opera. So if I want to check a site in multiple browser easily, just takes a few clicks
