Ok, I'm hopefully going to be picking up my new Toyota Tacoma truck in a couple of days, so I thought i'de start a thread so everyone can post pics of what they drive?  In the meantime here's a pic of my 1964 TR4.  Obviously in need of some work  :)

I have a body kit sitting in the garage waiting to be put on. Going to replace taillights, lower it, and repaint it next summer. Going with a really light yellow, almost white.

No, what we need is a crappy car. Here's mine, a 1990 Daihatsu Rocky with I don't know how many miles. I paid $1500 for it but ended up pouring over $3000 to maintain the thing. She's tempermental too - doesn't like going uphill and at the beginning, drank more water each day than the average person! No air conditioning, no radio, no heater (but who needs all those things). Oh, and the years haven't been too kind on her looks as the salt air has rusted out some of the body. This shot is the good angle of her.

Her redeeming quality is that it's great on gas and the car does get me from A to B. I can't complain. It just took a little getting used to going from my Lexus SC400 to this.  ;D

I had a WRX before the Legacy.

Here is my trusty old 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, its been a good little car, and been with me on a lot of traveling. I travelled a lot with the company I used to work for, moving from Illinois, to Seattle, WA, to San Francisco, CA, to West Palm Beach, FL, and then to Missouri. This car made all the trips with me. (The trip from California to Florida is not recommended in a tiny two door coupe such as this, by the way) :)

The Car is a '97 Volvo 850, the bike is an '05 Honda Shadow Areo.

These are pix from Google. Don't have any, I'm behind the wheel or handel bars and not behind the camera - that could be dangerous, hmmm, maybe I'll try it!

Yves, that bike looks like fun. I was looking at that model before I fell for the Shadow - of course, you've got better mileage than I!

Not to seek sympathy, but 8 years ago I had a brain hemorrhage that put me out of commission for well over three years. I gave away my bike because I thought that I was never going to ride - or walk - again. I fooled them! But I could have kicked myself for letting go of the bike. Oh well, it was a well needed gift, anyway.

its a snow scooter made by polaris. i'm not allowed any other brand becuase of the family i've married into (they currently have 3 with another coming next month). its a switchback 600 and will do 150kmh and i've been told there is more in it if you make a few mods ...

very nice.. love snowmobiles.. shame i can have one in my neighborhood.

Well, my first car was a Citroen C6 1929. I buyed this model when I was 16th and I modified it to make an HotRod! Infortunately I dont have a picture but I found a picture in Google of the original car  ;)

Actually, my car is a little 106 Peugeot. The picture is from Google too but my car is exactly the same.

In Brazil (where I return every year), I have an 1967 Bus like this one but white and Green and with 15 windows. I love it!!!

Ok, I think I will have to chime in as the typical 27 year old male with 3 (almost 4) children.

- I started off before I was married with the beautiful 1988 Chevy Celebrity. Never should have sold it!
- Moved up to my dream car after marrying. A 1995 Mustang GT. 5.0L, 5spd. woohoo!
- First kid arrived, TRADED the Mustang AND the celebrity for a brand new KIA. A nice car, but what a mistake!
- Upgraded (downgraded?) to my rusty, reliable 1995 mazda protege with 250k+ on it.

What's next? Well the Mazda should last me another 10 years at least so no plans yet.  ;)

ah the espace, the van that started the minivan revolution!

So... I'm not the only one with a Van?  Great!!!!
But, back in the day I used to enjoy riding those in the first image(the motorcycle).  Not that exact "model'... but anything close assured me of an enjoyable ride.

Then, when I got married...and had kids... my wife made me stop riding those and forced me into the second image (the van). 
The transition has been a little difficult,  so I can give you a few pointers and things to be aware of...

1. The maintenance on the van is alot higher, BUT...it can be done with more frequency. (Although I rode as many 'motorcylces' as was humanly possible.)
2. If you leave the van overnight....somebody will call you the next morning...but they will have a bill.
3. It's more difficult to tell when the van is running.....you can be driving along just fine...then BOOM.... everything just stops working.
4. You can NEVER (pay attention because this is important)... bring a "motorcyle" home after you purchase the 'van'.... unless you are really...really...really lucky.  In my case, my wife made me quit riding 'motorcyles' as soon as I got the 'van'.   
5. IF you happen to ride a 'motorcyle' after you have a 'van'...make sure you follow safety rules and wear a helmet.  If you don't, there is a chance that your wife could find out that you rode a 'motorcyle' and she will be really upset with you.

So...anyway.... That's how I 'roll'.

Well this is my '98 Honda Civic VTEC. I like my Jap cars, I don't think you can beat them for speed and reliability! This is the third Honda I've owned, the first was written off (not my fault >:() and the second one got upgraded to this one.

The picture was taken on Hardknott Pass (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardknott_Pass) in the Lake District UK, it's the steepest road in England and makes for a fun journey! It's pretty close to where I live and we go there in the summer time to jump off the cliffs into the crystal clear rivers, it's amazing! Here's a YouTube vid of the action (http://youtube.com/watch?v=d6L4Y7F_ndo) from the very day the photo was taken, the biggest jumps are about half way through the vid.  ;D

Nice pickup Andy. I'm currently looking for one for my home in Mexico. It's in a small town where the only paving is on inner roads and those that connect to major towns. I nice and hardy pickup will do. Definately checking out Toyota and those upgraded wheel/tires.

ok lads, one more for you. in sweden we use wood to heat the house. i have this oven that i fill up once a day and it keeps the house warm and gives us hot water ... so i've run out of wood and i've had to take the quad out. i would have used a snow scooter but we dont have a thing on the back to attach the trailer ...

it took me a while to fill up the cellar but it was fun because after i got to rip up the garden on a quad bike in the snow ...

this really is my definition of fun. i was working with 4 wheel drive all day then stuck it into 2 wheel for the snow ... amazing! wife however couldnt take a decent photo. could be because it is dark here pretty much all the time and i was tearing up the garden .. so here is one of me and then one of the actual quad ...

just want to add. it's a lot more fun with the ipod on as you dont hear anything else ... its coming with me everywhere this year on the scooter! highly recommend fat boy slim .... gets you going!

next year andy the guesthouse will be finished. it's about 30 meters from the house right on the edge of the forrest but wireless doesn't reach  :(  so i'm laying cable in the spring!

sorry to harp on about this but i'm still smiling .... its got quite wamr here so a lot of the snow has turned very hard and icy ... it was the most fun i've ever had on a quad. you had ot fight round the rock inthe photo but when you got it out you just pushed down and kicked off again ... awseome ride  ;D

I must admit that my stock 4.7 overheadcam V8 goes like snot... NOTHING what like your wild beasts must do, but still impressive as all get out to me! Of course gas milage is... erm... less than spectacular, but oh well.

I saw an episode of Overhauling (great show btw) where Chip Foos (HAIL) did an old Bronco up... man did it turn out sharp. :o

Stratus is nice, easy on gas and very comfortable.
I just wrote off (hit a deer - thus why we bought the Dakaota) a '95 Dodge Avenger, a sister vehicle (kinda) to the Stratus. I liked the Avenger a  lot and mourn the loss of it... if The Wife bought me a Viper that would take the sting away! LMAO! ;)

How about a ride that I used to have up until about 8 years ago.

For about 5 years I had a Maxair Drifter. I had it for joy riding, but National Geographic used it to fly over big herds of animals in Africa. Most of the great shots from the ais were from the NG channel and shot from this airplane.

Once, the engine overheated and stopped at 1,000 feet, but my experience at Microsoft Flight Sim saved the day - and me! I would sit at the computer and put in a couple of units of fuel (less that a cup), and fly an airplane up to 10,000 ft (on the computer), run out of gas and float down and land. That skill came in handy when the engine stopped on me. I looked for the wind blowing the flag at a car dealership, lined up with the wind and, fortunately, was able to land in the big field at the Masonic Home for Children.

In this image, the black tube just under the wing is a parachute that could lower the plane and occupants (2) down safely. I didn't have one of these.

This one is red, but mine was blue, with yellow stripes. Like flying a motorcycle! What fun!

Here's a pic on the Malibu coast.  We bought this 2001 C5 last year, flew back to Chicago and drove it home over Route 66. The first owner won it on a radio station contest and had it in his garage for five years. It had only 2,109 miles when we bought it.

Nissan 350z - sleek black(very girlie thing to say, I know!), v fast, excelleration makes my tummy tingle, awesome for racing, especially when there are no cops around,  track days a hoot!  She's a beauty.  Drifting is mighty fine.  Sorry no boyish stats on this one, she goes, and she goes fast, thats all I care!

Kart - my weekend toy when I get a chance to get away from this computer!  Great way to chillout.  Guys hate being beaten by girls, that makes it even more fun!  Travelling at 125kms with your bum 2 inches off the ground is great fun  ;D  Awesome workout too! By the way I do the mechanicing for it too  :o

LOL! I'm out of town, so I missed the question.

Yup, that is 100% real photo, and a blind-spot mirror. this is my first convertible, so I was unaware about blind spots many convertibles have. Luckily, I have driven large trucks, so was VERY familiar with these little mirrors, and I grabbed a few and cleared that problem up.

I highly recommend them to everyone. they are a godsend, not to mention that they add neat effects when photographing things in your mirror! LOL! :D

I agree - lots of cars have them built-in to the mirrors, but if they don't, motorway driving is a life-threatening experience, especially in this god-forsaken country (the UK that is).

The family car is a 2002 Honda Odyssey.

My project car is a 1956 VW beetle. It needs to be restored. Unfortunately, family, work and funds always seem to come first.

The Sabb is the usual daily car - unless I have to carry anything large! No pics of the wife's estate which is the alternative (Citroen C5)

The Hymer is the working machine - seen in work mode and holiday mode (In a vineyard in Champagne last summer)

Fine....laugh at me if you will...but I am a HUGE "Heroes" fan and in the first half of season 1 they heavily marketed the Nissan Versa (Hiro and Ando)....after that, I was sold...just had to get one!  It's not the fastest car in the world, but it's roomy, gets good gas mileage and it's mine...2007 Nissan Versa S.  My other ride is a '94 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500.

Sadly had to give it up, it's rusting away in the old barn now. I guess i'll need to start chargeing money for building sites....

What can I say. It turns heads and some people think its cool, while others think I'm a dork. I just like riding it. Ape-hanger handlebars, lots of chrome, Fireball tires, and silver bullet valve caps to name just a few features. Woo haa!

The Towne Bike looks cool, what is the millage per charge, and speed.

Mileage depends on how much help you ask of it. It has four settings: 30% assistance up to 200% assistance (at that setting, every calorie of effort you put into peddling gets three calories of work done, and the hills flatten and the head winds vanish). At the lowest setting, it'll go 70+km on a charge, at full assistance it'll go 30-35km on a single charge.

Maximum speed by Canadian law is 32km/h (~ 20 mph). After that, the motor shuts off. If that happens while riding in a strong head wind, you know it. If it happens riding down a hill, you don't notice. If you tell the control computer you have really small wheels you can cheat the speed cut-off, but then the speedometer and odometer would be messed. 30km/h is a good speed, I find, to ride a bike at.

The nice thing about this system is you can add it to the bicycle of your choice.

HAD A 95 NISSAN 240 SX...... then a 2000 VW Jetta GLX VRG.....both cars heavily modded ....until I too had to start running things in 1.5(baby compatibility mode)..... all gone... 3 & 2 year old boys!  Honda Civic  :P Sucks!!!!  No more fast for me, although they both want me to play Lightining McQueen.

I currently drive a black Oldsmobile Intrigue. Functional but boring compared to some cars I owned in the past. One of my favourites was a Chevy Camaro.

But nothing compared to my younger brother Steve who was prouder than anyone with his 1968 Super Orbit wagon. He got all decked out for this picture with his Batman boots. We couldn't get those boots off him, he wore them everywhere. It was a bit embarrassing, a bit like having to drag Nancy Sinatra around with you everywhere...

I found this picture after many years, (in that holiday I was in a Greek camping with my Kawasaki), and I have been sure for years that the picture was showing my motorcycle in the background (the shape and the decorations are also very similar), but it isn't!

Well I debated long and hard on replying to this topic, although since I am single I get to spend my money the way I want, so I basically blow it on stupid stuff... :)

I don't really have anything THAT great. The only thing I bought new was the F350 - (2 years ago) I only drive it maybe 800 miles a year (Just to take the horses out, or to pull the boat to the lake)

I bought the Explorer because of the Stupid $3.89 per gallon for diesel. Which is a bunch of crock because diesel is man made and made cheaper, they are just sticking it to Truck drivers and diesel owners. The red Firebird I bought was pretty rough in shape, but over 6 years I just started putting money in it. My teal Firebird will have the LS2 motor in it (Yeah baby, Yeah!)

well im sure if one get stuck you have the next one to move around.  Too bad here in Brooklyn NY to own more than one car you either need to pay at least $200 per car a month for a parking garage or own your house with a big yard space which it rarely to see. LOL
