Hey folks, since the start of RocketTheme we have focused on building our community into something that everyone can be proud of and enjoy be being a part of.  A major part of that is our forums, and the friendly and helpful atmosphere among our members.  Since the start we've promoted using 'real' avatars of ourselves as I feel this really helps to make the forums seem more personable and interactive.  It enables you to feel like when you participate here, your not just talking with some 'name' your talking a with a real person.

So, in that regard, I'd like to humbly ask EVERYONE who doesn't already have an avatar of themselves to please add one.  It's so easy to do in these days of camera-phones, webcams, and digital cameras.  There's really no excuse :) It takes only a minute or two. 

When you have an image, you can easily associate it with your profile here by visiting your profile page here:

http://www.rockettheme.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,190/action,profile/ (or click the Profile link in the very top-right corner of the RocketTheme website when you are logged-in)

Then Click on "Forum Profile Information" in the left menu.  From there, just choose "I will upload my own picture" and use the file chooser button to select your image you've made, when you save your profile with "change profile" the image will be uploaded and resized and will now show up with all your posts.

Break falls let you dissipate the force of the technique.

Ok this is fun :).  This is me after buying a ticket "all the way to the top" on the south pillar at the Eyfell Tower.  I was alone, backpacking you know, and lone tourists must wait until a group is formed, but i entered the tower by joining a japanese group.

Yes, I'm here! Hold the applause (well, actually, there aren't any)! For those of you who don't know me, you're better off that way. For those I haven't seen in a while... Ah, the virtual life is soooooooooooooo good! (aren't you jealous?) No? Hmmm...

Lot's of cool changes around here! RT continues to surpass all expectations on a daily basis. The Pro Lounge has, well, pros lounging around in the Andy smokin' jackets and drinkin' Miller beer - which is free with every subscription as a Professional Member - what a perk! :)

I see some of you regulars are sporting new threads and hairdoos and James continues to mount up ever increasing post numbers as he helps people, whether they want it or not! :)

Of course, Joseph H is still cute - even tho his wife may vehemently disagree!

GollumX keeps the sane side of the world in tact as the rest of us go bonkers!

Occasionally Kevin still pops up out of the dungeon - like Grendle in Beowulf! Boy, that Andy is a slave driver! However, Angelina looks better naked!

Mike is still selling those parrots! Now every telephone pole in the northern US has is own nest!

Roland keeps things cool - makes you wonder if he might be normalized with anti-depressants, or something. Sweeeeet!

Things continue to grow at RT! The templates are getting better and the community is getting stronger  - but I'm still waiting for that eatable 3D template that you can also scratch and sniff! Has anyone got an ETA on that? Believe me, if something's worth getting the shakes for, THAT would be the MOTHER LOAD!!

But, since all good things must come to an end (same with the wildwood weed), I will cease my vain ramblings for now and slip back into obscurity and hide in my virtual world, with my virtual land, my virtual home, my virtual girlfriend (who might actually be a guy, not sure), my virtual good time - well, can't say I have a REALLY good time, BUT, is all that this humble dinosaur has to offer.

My avatar is me from my glorious days as a dance instructor. Taken in 2001, I think. Now I'm so fat and lazy, no photo editor in the world could help me shrink into avatar size. And because I run a homepage for an international artist, I like to keep my face anonymous to keep the tabloids away from my doorstep. Hope it's ok with you folks...

Ok, here's my avatar.  You can't get more real than that.  Well - ok - It's slightly modified since the real pic showed a little more me than I like the world to see.  :o I was snorkel-diving in Phi Phi, Thailand.  And now I sit behind a desk all day... :'(

Can't wait 'til I'm not a "newbie" anymore...
