Dimensions A variation of the popular RocketTheme Dimensions template, the Dimensions World of Warcraft mod gives you a stylish design with plenty of World of Warcraft flavour. Use this mod for your own World of Warcraft fansite, or use it as a starting point for your own template mod to create anything you want.

This mod features the same easy background image and accent color changing abilities as well as all of the other built-in features found in the original Dimensions template.

The New RokSlide Powered Tabbed Modules

Harnessing the power and functionality of the popular RokSlide module, Dimensions offers the ability to present your modules in sliding tabs. Publish multiple modules into to a single tab module position as well as customize the titles that appear in each tab.

Organize large amounts of information in easy to navigate tabbed panes and reduce the clutter and space needed to display your content. By default, User 7-11 module positions appear in the bottom tabbed module pane. You can also add more module positions if needed.

Downloading the Template Files

  • Dimensions Template (rt_dimensions_wow_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Dimensions into Joomla.
  • Dimensions Custom Extensions (dimensions-extensions-j15.zip) This package contains each of the individual custom extensions included in the Dimensions template release.
  • Dimensions Source PNGs (dimensions-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.

Using the Joomla Installer

From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.

Next, browse for your rt_dimensions_wow_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.

Making Dimensions the Default

installationNext, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_dimensions_wow_j15 on the list of installed templates.

Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Dimensions is now your default template.

Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

installationGo to your Admin control panel for your site. In the Menu at the top, go to Installers > Templates - Site.

Next browse for your rt_dimensions_wow.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install. Now Dimensions is installed and in your template list. You should observe an introductory page in which you select Continue.

Making Dimensions the Default

installationNext, from your admin control panel, go to Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. This will pull up the list of your installed templates.

Find Dimensions on the list and select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Dimensions will now be the default template.

You will observe that the modular positions, User7 through User 11 are contained within what appears to be RokSlide. How do I modify the colors?
Dimensions has been designed from the ground up to make customizing your template's colour scheme as easy as can be. All of the "accent colour" image elements of the template are controlled by the CSS, allowing you to change the accent colour scheme of your site by simply changing a few colour codes in the CSS. No need to fire up the image editor for this one! Backgrounds are also easier than ever before. Having Internet Explorer 6 Issues?
On certain occasions, the Dimensions template may not look functional in Internet Explorer 6. This could be due to the CSS file that has all the fixes for IE6 being a PHP file. Some server configurations do not operate well with this and it is best to remove the PHP references from the file and make it a CSS stylesheet. More Details...
