VividDesignSeptember 2005 Joomla Template
VividDesign is the new September 2005 entry in the JamboWorks Template Club. This design is based on the current OpenSourceMatters.org template with various improvements. It’s an all DIV based design that incorporates the variable-max ability to stretch and fill the available browser area. This template requires no special configuration of any sort, so you can quickly get up and running on a base mambo install.

Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
- VividDesign Template (rt_vividdesign_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install VividDesign into Joomla.
- VividDesign Source PNGs (vividdesign-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for your rt_ vividdesign_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.
Making VividDesign the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_ vividdesign_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. VividDesign is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
Installation - Joomla 1.0
Downloading the Template Files
- VividDesign Template (jw_vividdesign.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install VividDesign into Joomla.

Using the Joomla Installer
Go to your Admin control panel for your site. In the Menu at the top, go to Installers > Templates - Site.
Next browse for your jw_vividdesign.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install. Now VividDesign is installed and in your template list. You should observe an introductory page in which you select Continue.
Making VividDesign the Default
Next, from your admin control panel, go to Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. This will pull up the list of your installed templates.
Find VividDesign on the list and select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. VividDesign will now be the default template.
