RTSplitMenu Information
This exclusive RocketTheme menu system in this template use the mainmenu by default and this menu is configured in the admin administator. For these to function correctly, understand that the ‘top level’ menu items will show up as the horizontal buttons across the top of the template. For sub menu items, assign Parent Item to these top menus to the top-level item. These will then show up below in a sub-horizontal menu when you click on a top-level item.

Downloading the Template Files
- Sporticus News Template (rt_sporticus-news_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Sporticus News into Joomla.
- Sporticus News Custom Extensions (sporticus-news-extensions-j15.zip) This package contains each of the individual custom extensions included in the Sporticus News template release.
- Sporticus News Source PNG's (sporticus-news-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source png's for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for your rt_sporticus-news_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.

Making Sporticus News the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_sporticus-news_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Sporticus News is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

Using the Joomla Installer
Go to your Admin control panel for your site. In the Menu at the top, go to Installers > Templates - Site.
Next browse for your rt_sporticus-news.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install. Now Sporticus News is installed and in your template list. You should observe an introductory page in which you select Continue.
Making Sporticus News the Default
Next, from your admin control panel, go to Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. This will pull up the list of your installed templates.
Find Sporticus News on the list and select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Sporticus News will now be the default template.
