CSS 3 Template
Omnicron uses a series of CSS 3 features to enhance its design. These are only available in CSS3 compliant browsers such as Firefox 3.6+, Safari 5+, Opera 10+ and Chrome 3+. IE9 also is also advertised as supported these standards. However, such features are described as having graceful degradation, meaning if the browser does not support the CSS, the element will not break, just degrade to a simpler standard.

- Box Shadows: Adds a shadow around block elements such as the Read More buttons.
- Text Shadows: Adds a shadow behind text elements such as Titles.
- Border Radius: Adds rounded corners to block elements such as Modules.
- Color Crossfading: Adds transition effects to color hovers for Links.
- CSS3 Animation: Adds image rotation effects to the RokTabs and Dropdown arrows.
RokFeatureTable Module
RokFeatureTable is a template integrated module that is designed to show tabular data in a stylistic, and easy to present manner. The module is downloadable with the other Omnicron extensions.

Fusion with MegaMenu
Fusion Menu is a menu theme of the RokNavMenu extension, the addon that drives all RocketTheme template menus. It is primarily a javascript enhanced CSS dropdown menu, that combines standard suckerfish type functionality with animations, transitions and other advanced effects provided by Mootools.
MegaMenu Features:
- Triple/Quad Column Modes: Have up to 4 columns in the Fusion dropdowns.
- Child Items Menu Grouping: Group child menu items inline with its parent.
- Column Width Control: Set the total, as well as individual column widths.
- Load Modules / Positions: Place modules or positions within the dropdown columns.

Third Party Extensions Compatibility Styling
Omnicron has compatibility styling for 5 major third party extensions: K2, Tienda, NinjaBoard, Virtuemart and JomSocial.
The extensions will not be included in the RocketLauncher package, but can be download / purchased from the developers of each extension, and installed. Remember to activate Third Party Styling in Admin → Extensions → Template Manager → rt_omnicron_j15 → Advanced

Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
To install the template, you need one of the following files:-
- Template (Standalone) rt_omnicron_j15.tgz - Standalone template file.
- Template (Bundle) rt_omnicron_j15-bundle.tar.gz - Template plus Gantry Component.
- RokNavMenu rt_omnicron_j15-extensions.zip(unzip first) or mod_roknavmenu.zip - Required for the menu to work..
Note: The Bundle Template is only necessary if the Gantry Library is not installed at /components/com_gantry.
There are other files that you may wish to download that accompany the release, but are not required for the template to work.
- Source PNG(s) rt_omnicron_j15-sources.zip - Adobe® Fireworks PNG source file(s) and any applicable fonts.
- Extensions rt_omnicron_j15-extensions.zip - All extensions for the template.
- RocketLauncher rt_omnicron_j15-rocketlauncher.zip - Demo replica installer.
The latest extensions can be downloaded from the Extensions Download area located here Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for the rt_omnicron_j15.tgz or rt_omnicron_j15-bundle.tar.gz file that you downloaded earlier and then click Upload File & Install.
Making Omnicron the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_omnicron_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Omnicron is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
