Mynxx is the first ever RocketTheme template to incorporate the popular Joomla ecommerce / shopping component, Virtuemart. This integration is applied in a variety of platforms, such as modules, a custom virtuemart theme and template coding.
The custom Virtuemart theme allows us to override the core output, which results in a more seamless integrated with the Virtuemart shopping component.

Notable examples are the Virtuemart Product Scroller seen above which scrolls through your items, either manually or automatically; and the dropdown boxes for Cart, Login and Font Style in the top tool bar (as part of the template); and also the quantity wheel in the Virtuemart theme's input boxes. Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
- Mynxx Template (rt_mynxx_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Mynxx into Joomla.
- Mynxx Custom Extensions (mynxx-extensions-j15.zip) This package contains each of the individual custom extensions included in the Mynxx template release.
- Mynxx Virtuemart Theme (vm_mynxx.zip) This package contains the virtuemart theme, specifically for Mynxx.
- Mynxx Source PNGs (mynxx-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for your rt_ mynxx_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.
Making Mynxx the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_ mynxx_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Mynxx is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
