Meridian is the latest release for 2009 and does not disappoint. It is equipped with a fantastic array of features such as support for RokTabs and RokAjaxSearch. Elegance, usability and professionalism are the core elements of the theme.
The theme is also the first RocketTheme template to boast complete RTL support to make Meridian easily adaptable to international sites that require this functionality.
NOTICE: Meridian is a Joomla 2.5 template. Joomla 1.5 is unsupported but available for download.

RTL-Support
Meridian is the first RocketTheme template to offer support for RTL (right-to-left). Simply switch Joomla into RTL mode and the template will do the rest, with support for template elements including the javascript enhanced RokMoomenu.

Multi-Drop Column Menu
A brand new menu function, the Multiple Drop Column ability. This applies only to MooMenu and Suckerfish and allows for multiple drop down columns instead of the typical single variant. The advanced options with this feature, allow you to choose the number of columns, specify individual menu levels which exhibit the behaviour and restrict the number of columns per row. A truly versatile new feature as showcased on the demo.

RokCandy is the awesome new component from RocketTheme. It provides essential functionality for creating complicated articles but allowing BBcode type function within Joomla. Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
- Meridian Template (rt_meridian_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Meridian into Joomla.
- Meridian Custom Extensions (meridian-extensions-j15.zip) This package contains each of the individual custom extensions included in the Meridian template release.
- Meridian Source PNGs (meridian-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for your rt_ meridian_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.
Making Meridian the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_ meridian_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Meridian is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
