The drop-down menu system uses the mainmenu menu configured in the administrator. For this to function correctly understand that the 'top level' menu items will show up as the horizontal buttons across the top of the template. For sub menu items, assign Parent Item to these top menus to the top-level item. These will then show up under the ‘top level’ item when you mouse-over. Also there will be a small triangle to indicate that this menu option has a drop-down.
