Fire is a stunning new Joomla template released as the May 06 template as part of the RocketTheme Template Club. This template comes with 3 gorgeous color variations right out of the box. RTSuperSucker Information

The RTSuperSucker menu system in this template uses the mainmenu by default and this menu is configured in the administrator. For this to function correctly understand that the 'top level' menu items will show up as the horizontal buttons across the top of the template. For sub menu items, assign Parent Item to these top menus to the top-level item. These will then show up below in a submenu when you click on a top-level item.


Installation - Joomla 1.5


Downloading the Template Files

  • Fire Template (rt_fire_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Fire into Joomla.
  • Fire Source PNGs (fire-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.

Using the Joomla Installer

From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.

Next, browse for your rt_ fire_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.

Making Fire the Default

installationNext, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_ fire_j15 on the list of installed templates.

Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Fire is now your default template.

Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

Using the Joomla Installer

installationGo to your Admin control panel for your site. In the Menu at the top, go to Installers > Templates - Site.

Next browse for your rt_fire.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install. Now Fire is installed and in your template list. You should observe an introductory page in which you select Continue.

Making Fire the Default

installationNext, from your admin control panel, go to Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. This will pull up the list of your installed templates.

Find Fire on the list and select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Fire will now be the default template.
