NOTICE: Crystalline has limited support for IE6. The primary restrictions are placed on the preset settings (only low is available), the menu (fusion menu is replaced with suckerfish) and RTL support is not present.
Color Chooser & 12 Preset Styles
The Color Chooser is, in effect, an interactive popup that allows you to edit the various style elements of Crystalline, such as background, text, link colour and overlay graphics, live. You can save them directly into the Gantry administrator for assignment later. The transparent nature of the template makes the Color Chooser so extraordinary.
Additionally, we have pre-configured 12 preset styles with the Color Chooser to show a small selection of how the feature can be used.

Gantry Framework
Crystalline is the built with the Gantry Framework, which includes powerful features such as menu item control, RTL support, custom presets and many more. This is all on top of the first generation features, making Gantry the most noticeable, and far reaching feature of the template.
Gantry is, as a basic definition, A framework used for assembling, building and maintaining a RocketTheme template. It is an advanced platform for dramatically extending the capabilities of the entire theming system of Joomla.

RTL Support
Template side RTL support from the Fusion menu to the Typography. This is in conjunction with Gantry's RTL support for the automatic flipping of the grid system.
If Joomla is set to RTL mode, in its language settings, the Crystalline template will automatically adjust to its RTL layout. The modules will invert inside a row, such as showcase-a and showcase-f being in alternate locations; the various template elements such as the breadcrumbs and typography will also flip; and also the menu will adjust accordingly (ensure you are using the latest version of RokNavMenu however).

Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
To install the template, you need one of the following files:-
- Crystalline Template (Standalone) rt_crystalline_j15.tgz - This is the standalone template file that you use to install into Joomla.
- Crystalline Template (Bundle) rt_crystalline_j15-bundle.tar.gz - This is the bundle package, containing the template and Gantry library files, that you use to install into Joomla.
Only use the Bundle package on a clean install, or on an install that does NOT have the Gantry library already installed - /components/com_gantry. Use the standalone package if the Gantry library is already present.
There are other files that you may wish to download that accompany the release, but are not required for the template to work.
- Crystalline Source PNG(s) rt_crystalline_j15-sources.zip - This contains all the Adobe Fireworks PNG source files for the template, and if applicable, the logo font.
- Crystalline Extensions rt_crystalline_j15-extensions.zip - This package contains all the extensions that accompany the template release.
- Crystalline RocketLauncher rt_crystalline_j15-rocketlauncher.zip - The RocketLauncher pack is a full Joomla install that contains all the demo content, including extensions and the template.

From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for the rt_crystalline_j15.tgz or rt_crystalline_j15-bundle.tar.gz' file that you downloaded earlier and then click Upload File & Install.
Making Crystalline the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_crystalline_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Crystalline is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

RTL, meaning Right-to-left, is a language format used for Arabic, Hebrew and others, in contrast with LTR (Left-to-right) languages such as English. Crystalline has support for this, from the gantry grid system to the template elements themselves such as the menu and typography.

Fusion is effectively a dropdown menu which combines the former RokMoomenu and Suckerfish systems into one, offering both a javascript enhanced and basic, simple dropdown modes. The menu itself is built on the rewritten core of the latest revision of RokNavMenu, the core application behind all RocketTheme menus.
Fusion offers a series of new abilities ranging from Menu Icons, Subtext support and much greater controls over the Multiple Column ability for dropdowns.
