AphelionMay 2005 Bonus Joomla Template
Template Club members now have access to a brand new bonus template for May. This template has been developed due to numerous requests for a Variable-Width version of April's DigitalEther template. This template uses the same variable-max system as is used in the mamboserver.com template. The navigation system uses the exclusive menu based on the very cool 'TransMenu' sliding menu system.

Installation - Joomla 1.5
Downloading the Template Files
- Aphelion Template (rt_aphelion_j15.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Aphelion into Joomla.
- Aphelion Source PNGs (aphelion-sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
From the Menu in your Joomla Administrator, go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall.
Next, browse for your rt_ aphelion_j15.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install.
Making Aphelion the Default
Next, go to Extensions → Template Manager. Find rt_ aphelion_j15 on the list of installed templates.
Select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Aphelion is now your default template.
Additionally, you can also edit the template's customization parameters by selecting this same radio button and clicking the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

Downloading the Template Files
- Aphelion Template (md_aphelion.tgz) This file is the template package you will use to install Aphelion into Joomla.
- Aphelion Source PNGs (aphelion_sources.zip) This package contains the Adobe Fireworks source PNGs for making modifications and customizations to the images in the template. You will need Adobe Fireworks image editing to fully utilize the Source PNG files.
Using the Joomla Installer
Go to your Admin control panel for your site. In the Menu at the top, go to Installers > Templates - Site.
Next browse for your md_aphelion.tgz file you downloaded and then click Upload File & Install. Now Aphelion is installed and in your template list. You should observe an introductory page in which you select Continue.
Making Aphelion the Default
Next, from your admin control panel, go to Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. This will pull up the list of your installed templates.
Find Aphelion on the list and select the radio button to the left and then click Default up in the top right corner. Aphelion will now be the default template.
