RT,
I use 1.7 and was curious if there is a way to set Mission Control to always show:
"all articles...in alphabetical order..."
I find myself always doing this and was wondering if there was a way to just set this to stay this way whenever I login to the backend...I'd like to do the same for the modules...and pluggins...

- Michael, that would require some tweaks to the com_content extension and is, I think, beyond the capability of a template to influence.
