can't use dropdown menus with screen reader

  • can't use dropdown menus with screen reader

    • I am a blind user. When I try to use the dropdown menus with my screen reader, I don't get all the "options" that my wife can see when she's using it visually. this is especially true with the "actions" and "system tools" buttons.
I looked through the posts and didn't see any one else having this problem except for an iPad, so I wanted to see if there's anything I can do or that can be done to fix this?? I'm using WinXP and IE8.

      thanks in advance,
      Flip

    • The menu has been split up in to the main menu and the tools menu. However we are using proper html lists in MC, so I would think it would be more accessible, but this has not been thoroughly tested to be honest.

I would think the problem lies in the fact that we do have these multiple lists and the action menu is a sub-list within the toolbar. This may not be the easiest thing in the world to navigate for a screen reader.

    • Hi Andy in was nice meeting you in India.

I see that screen saver skips those menu,

      Thanks
