Make Joomla "Offline" Like Mission Control...

Posted 12 years 11 months ago
    • Joomla Team,

I wanted to know if anyone has a Joomla Offline Template that resembles the Mission Control Template...

If not...where do I look for the template for the Offline page that pops up...I was going to mess with it today...I really like the look of the Mission Control Template! Wanted my customers to see something different than the generic joomla offline message...

Thanks for the help and direction in advance...

      Mike :cheesy:

    • Kevin,

Actually I gave up...really haven;t had time to give it the attention it deserved...found a few free ones...no worries...I normally have a site up so fast...it's only there a day or two...

      Wish I had more time...

    • Thanks Mike,

I am going to give this a go and will post here if I am successful. It would be great if this could be done on these admin templates without having to edit the core.

    • Offline is configured by your frontend template, not the admin template like MissionControl, so there is really no way we can add this by default into the template, you would have to mimic the 'login' screen or something in your template.

    • The Admin template by Joomla Bamboo (Crisp) installs with a modified login. As does several others, so it is possible I think?

    • "login" is different from "offline" wich is, as Andy said, controlled by the template.
You can easily override the standard "offline" as I mentioned above.
