I know this isn't an issue today, but I just dl'd and installed a copy of joomla 1.1 alpha 2 and attempted one of your recent templates, Inet Gazette. As a member of the template club I'm mostly just curious today what the plan is for supporting joomla 1.1 with all the existing templates...
It installed, but I got this error in this instance:
Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/templates/jw_inetgazette/rt_suckerfish.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/langleyco.com/httpdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/langleyco.com/httpdocs/joom11/templates/jw_inetgazette/index.php on line 16

for kicks I tried the newest template, "extremites" it installs successfully as did the previous. But, here are the errors...

lots of issues like this with 1.1 at the mo.. don't worry they'll get worked out before release. this release is more for 3rd party developers to start poking around with the new api.
