    • I've seen this mentioned before. It's an incompatibility between layers and flash, I do not know of anyway to resolve it short of moving the flash so it does not get in the way.

      Try this, it might work because transparency and opacity isn't only from behind to front but a matter of blending pixels:

      Try adding this between the object tags:
      <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/>

      And this in the embed tag:
      wmode=transparent

      I haven't tried it with that ordering - front to behind, but I Hope it helps (theoretically it should work)

    • Hi Rene
      I tried your suggestion the menu were blinking.
      Also in my experience when u make flash file as <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/>
      on firefox the flash file load slower, until this point i cannot figure out why.

      Well I "hide" the menu, by changing the opacity and color to match the background.
      work fine on window. www.cmgcommunications.com/index.php
      my issue now, people who use mac still see the roll over effect "grey box", that what my client said.

      I cannot see cause i don't use Mac

      Andy is there any setting on the transmenu.cc or anywhereelse where i can just turn off the dropdown menu.
      or at least i can hide them.
      I thank you for the tip and help.

    • you might be able to use some javascript because if you don't call init(); in the body tag it wont load the dropdown, so if you can come up with some javascript to not call that function on certain pages you'll be in ok shape.

    • Hi there. I am using digital_ether. When I create more than 4 items in the main menu, it kill the drop downs and prompts me with a message: You do not have acces to this item. You should log in to view it!

      Your help is much appreciated.

    • sounds like an issue with the item in the menu rather than the menu itself. Try a different menu item to verify.

      Hi Andy, actually, I tried a new item, but, still the problem remains. This problem is the kind I have been always afraid of bumping into.

      Any help is much appreciated.

      Thanks,
