I just wanted to drop y'all a line and let you know that we have finalized the design for the next template and are in the process of building out its particles and layout. As always, I can't share what the design looks like or any specific features because everything is subject to change as things come together. But, like with Fluent, I'll share our thought process going into it.
The next template is beautiful. It's rich in images and, like Fluent before it, has depth that sets it apart from the flat design scheme that has dominated web design trends for the last several years. We know that there will always be a place for simple, flat designs and we want to emphasize that every template we create is capable of being arranged to meet those needs, but with our recent templates, we want to make sure that we demo them to show that they're capable of so much more than that.
It's also no slouch in the particles department. You'll see a lot of variety with this one, and that's always a good thing. During our brainstorming phase, we were determined to bring as many elements to the table as we could. We looked at particles that were featured in recent G5 templates that you enjoyed, and how we could incorporate them into a totally different design.
This meant going through a few revisions in the process. Every time we got a mock-up, we talked about how we could take it a bit further. The result is a gorgeous design with plenty of flexibility behind it. It would work just as well for a public park as it would for an art gallery, restaurant, photographer's portfolio, or tech startup.
As always, we don't have an exact ETA for this template, but know it'll be well worth the wait.
