Why dont you Guys at RT implements a user idea pool, like
extensions.joomla.org/extension/user-ideas/
I think that kind of polls are way better than long forum posts, where in most cases it leads to frustration, and expends hours of your small team. - Hugo Avila

If you want to add a poll in our forum on which people vote then you can. Just do "create new topic" and then select "add poll" button.
To be honest, it's rare that anyone ever adds one, and even rarer that members bother voting.
So, I think what you're requesting already exists, we won't be changing the forum any further... we simply don't have the resources to do it, all our developers are extremely busy.
