FTP creds don't work.
Can you confirm what you posted?

Ok ... So new problem.... I originally set the subdomain up in cpanel and it was giving me the previous error... I deleted the subdomain in cpanel and used the domain mapping exclusively in WP to do the subdomain and I sort of got somehwere but there is a whole new problem. By using the domain mapping exlusively it looks like WP built the subdomain by itself which I think it is supposed to do.. so yea!!
The problem is when I go to visit the dashboard for the subdomain which i just created... It is giving me the following error 404..

Not sure if anyone can help but i would appreciate it... I did some investigating and the wp_config file in a basic installation is quite different from the wp_config file in the rocket launcher installation..
I can see the difference but I am not a coder so I am not sure what the difference is..

Looking at My Sites and the current theme applied your using the sites look to be working.
