    • As an inexperienced newbie what would be the best way to get up to speed:

      1) Dive into the Gantry documentation, then Joomla.

      2) Start with Joomla documentation, then Gantry.

      3) Other suggestions, like online tutorials or other training.

I have downloaded Supra and Gantry, JCE Editor, and have the template at www.digitalandfilm.com and it seems to be working as demo was.

      Any input appreciated!

    • Learn the basic of Joomla first - you don't needs to spend hours on this as Gantry takes over a lot of stuff later or does it in a different way. But you do need to understand about menus, modules, articles, and module positions before moving on to Gantry.

Then, yes, starting with a rockerlauncher of a gantry template is the next thing to do and just try editing stuff to start with so you can see how it's been done. Each template has it's own documentation too. If you get stuck then is the time to look that up in the gantry/template docs or ask here in this forum.

You will also need to have basic html and CSS knowledge too - there are tutorials on the net for this too.

      Regards, Mark.
