Customized SMF Theme for Technozine

  • Customized SMF Theme for Technozine

    • I wanted a SMF theme that would look decent with the Technozine theme. Closest I could find was BlackDay from Nesianstyles. I modified it up a little to match the Technozine theme. I don't pretend to be a guru at this, so please post up any fixes if anything doesn't look right.

      Hopefully someone will find it useful..

      Disclaimer.... ( the news has been removed, so you won't see that unless you add it back in. I don't think this will work if you have your forums wrapped. It could though just by changing the table width and picture width in the index file.)

      If someone makes it better, zip it up and post it. That's about as far as I could go with it. ;D

    • To replace the "header" image, go to the theme index in your admin section and find:
      echo '
      &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; </td> <td class="windowbg" width="100%">

      <img src="http://www.whipevents.com/images/viperhome.jpg">
      </td></tr></table>

      Then just replace the image with yours. Sorry, I know that isn't as smooth as it should be. You can insert it into your images folder in the template and replace the whole thing with "images/image.jpg"

    • Thanks for the template mod, Jason!
      Are you running both bridges for Gallery and Forums successfully on your site?
      Looks like you have 4.5.2 running - I'm working on a similar set-up using the current release of Joomla, G2, smf and bridges.

    • I don't have the gallery tied in just yet. We just changed from the phpBB boards and we had the "album_mod" over there for the users. We just used Gallery for our site photographers.

      I'll be working on that shortly.
