SOLVED Changing over to Wordpress

    • Hi

My RT Joomla template club subscription is coming to an end and I want to move over to Wordpress. It says in my account details that I have 8 site licences.

I have not used up all my site licences and would like to be able to use them in the future if needs be. Would it be OK of I download all the current Joomla templates so I have a choice later when I want to use my unused licenses?

Just need to some advice or to be pointed to a relevant article as I don't know how this works.

      thanks in advance.

    • Why do you want to download all the Joomla templates if you are switching over to Wordpress anyway?

This makes no sense to me.

    • Might it make sense if there is a possibility of a client requesting a Joomla website?

just wanting to make sure I make the most of the licenses I have left , or are these carried over to the wordpress theme subscripton?

I know what you mean but you also have think about this:

      1. You do not get updates or bug-fixes.
      2. When your subscription runs out you don't have access to the Joomla-part of the forum

I don't mind if you download the templates you like and use them later - that should be okay.

Btw, the subscription question is probably answered here:

    • Thanks Prim.

That article explained it fairly well.

It makes complete sense what you say, so with that in mind, wouldn't it make sense to be able to "carry over" my site licenses when I change my subscription to the Wordpress Theme Club?

    • If you sign up for a wordpress subscription, we can definitely move over your joomla site licenses to your active wordpress subscription. This is a manual process and we can do this for you if you contact support after your wordpress subscription is available to move things over to. Just please reference this thread in the email so the support guys know I agreed :)

      Cheers!
