[Closed] Narrowing Logo position to create more space for menu

Posted 9 years 7 months ago
    • I have the old Chapelco template and I was wondering how to narrowing the width created for the logo (at the left) and the module in position Header C (to the right) in order to make it possible to widen the Menu to add more items. Thanks.

    • Template Manager > default MASTER > Layouts tab... adjust your Header slider accordingly for the number of modules you have there

    • Thanks Matt, I already use that Ganthy feature. The most narrowed setting is "2", not "1". Is it possible to apply a change in the code.

    • Here is the link: lavintadotcom.
Header "a" is the logo, "b" the menu (I guess) and "c" a third module.

    • c is the language switcher or whatever... do you need that in the top bar? when you have 3 modules in a position the largest anyone of them can be is 800px if the others are the smallest possible, 200px... in your case, 2|8|2

you could do a 2|10 split if you moved the language switcher...

anything else would require custom coding which is generally beyond the scope of support

    • My plan to replace the logo with a much narrower one (approx 30% of current). And for the language midule I already use the additional command nomarginall.

If in Gantry, when I use the slider, I cannot make it more narrow then "2", why it cannot be more narrow "1". Glad if you can give me some code for my custom Chapelco CSS file.
