Gzip / Compression Joomla! 3 and Faceboook

Hi everyone.
I've found that with Gzip / Compression enabled in Joomla! 3 my Faceboook links aren't scraped for images - and so I've had to turn off joomla compression/gzip. Have you found this to be the case?
