    SOLVED Update Error

    • I received this error message when updating the Joomla template today:
      Table 'db532199500.a584b_postinstall_messages' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `a584b_postinstall_messages`
      How do I resolve this?

    • Which version of Joomla do you use? Did the template install correctly?

    • I clicked to update the site to the current Joomla 3.2.4 today, and received this error message. I think it was at Joomla 3.1.5 before the update. I am still able to access the global configuration in the admin section, but not the control panel. The update completed about 30% before it failed. Everything was running fine before this.

    • OK but you said that you received this error when you tried to update the template and now you say that it showed up with the Joomla update

    • Sorry. I thought that was the same thing. In the control panel, it said there was an update available, so I clicked on it to update. then I received the message during the update process.

      Go to Admin -> Extend or Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Database and if there are errors then in the upper RH corner of the page click the FIX button.
