    Fatal error: Call to a member function

    Posted 13 years 2 months ago
    • I have been looking and looking but cant find the answer.

      I just signed up with HostGator. Used there simple joomla install. Then paid for and downloaded sporticus template. the template instaled successful and its is in my template manager. but when i set it for default i get the following error
      Fatal error: Call to a member function getCfg() on a non-object in /home/cka/public_html/templates/rt_solarsentinel_j15/index.php

      So i tried another couple of templates and have found the same exact issue. However the default joomla templates display fine.

      Any ideas to get me started??

    • Ok so maybe it is my PHP Temp directory is not "set". How do i do that? excue the ignorance. Thanks!

      edit:
      kso its in my php.ini file. Here is a cut and paste from that file that pertains to temp directory. What woud i change? What should I place in there??

      Temporary directory for HTTP uploaded files (will use system default if not
      ; specified).
      ;upload_tmp_dir =

      ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
      upload_max_filesize = 2M
