Gantry 5 / Hydrogen mobile logo change

Posted 6 years 8 months ago
    • Hello,

In one of our websites we would like to change the logo on the mobile view. Because we set the logo in the hydrogen theme as a <img src> we cannot change is by using our media queries. Is there a workaround for this? Do other people have the same issue?

      Kind regards,

      Libelnet

    • Hello Mark,

It is not a problem that we can't add some kind of image. But the thing is that we want to change the logo at this breakpoint: @include breakpoint(large-mobile-range). So we have a better responsive website. It looks better when we change the logo at this breakpoint, but ofcourse it's not possible to change the HTML what generates the logo.

You have an idea what i'm trying to accomplish?

      Kind regards,

      Libelnet

    • 1. you can have two alternate customhtml particles/modules with "hidden-phone" and "visible-phone" classes repectively.
      2. you can just put two HTML IMG tags in the one particle/module and again use the "hidden-phone" and "visible-phone" classes repectively.
      3. You can swap out the img on the img tags with some CSS trickery - but it's really not efficient so I would not do this.

If you need more help please post a link and admin details.

      Regards, Mark.
