    SOLVED IE problem after update

Posted 7 years 11 months ago
    • I have a problem after the gantry 5 update yesterday.
With Mozilla and Smartphone the site is ok.
But with IE or Edge is the website without css (I think)
      This is the site: www.loz.news
      What is the problem?
      Thanks!
      I use the ambrosia theme.

      Edit
I have recorded the previous version again to make it work again. There seems to be a bug.
      ... Libraries / gantry5 causing the problem

    • We would need to see the site in the broken state in order to be able to assist you.

Did you clear browser and server cache after the update and also ensuire everything else RT was up to date too?

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hi Mark,

      yes, I clear the cache.
      I use ambrosia 1.1.2.
The problem is the folder at
      libraries/gantry5
If I use the older folder, the site is ok at IE and Edge.
With the new folder from the update, the site is ok with other browsers like
      Google Chrome oder Mozilla.
Here is a screenshot from the site.

    • I need to see the site in that state. I think this is more likely a permissions issue or compressor issue or you have "progressive" cache on in global configuration. I can't diagnose the issue unless I can see it in that state and you provide admin login details and ftp access too. If this were a problem with the update we would be inundated and this is not the case, no one else is reporting this issue.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hi Warren,

      no, the problem isn't solved.
The problem is the folder at ...libraries/gantry5
Use the older folder from the last update, then the problem is solved,
but only behilfweise because the update will not be recorded with the changes.
      But it worked for me.

    • NMKR UG - I don't believe the problem is with the libraries and I asked to see your site in it's broken state so I can investigate.

Warren - Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hi Mark,
the site is in live operation, I can not again provided with the update currently that with everything upsets. That's the problem.
After importing the old folder "libraries/Gantry5" the page working again. For me, it is understandable that it was because then.

    • Can you not clone the site to a test area on the same server so I can look at that? If something needs fixing then we need to find out what... we can't do that if we can't see the issue.

      Regards, Mark.
