SOLVED XML file did not load

Posted 11 years 5 months ago
    • Hi,
I moved database & my site from www.test.com/develop to www.production.com and i am getting

500 - An error has occurred. XML file did not load

when i am trying to open my rocketheme/joomla template details.
      Joomla's default templates work fine.

I Tried to enable error detail in php.ini in order to get more details for the error but still I don't see any more details.

      Can you please help?

    • Hi,
I will use it in the future.
For now its highly important for us to solve the problem with out akeeba.

Is that because of a database table missing information or a file problem?

    • Please trust me that you will solve this issue faster if you backup your site with Akeeb now and restore it to the new location 8)

Are you on the same server for both sites or on different servers? Compare php informations on both server

    • The problem is that the transferred site has changed a lot since the restoration (it's a daily newspaper). That's why i can't use the akeeba.

I am on the same server (centos/cpanel). i used successfully phpmyadmin to backup and then restore database to the new site, SSH to copy the files, correct permissions etc.I believe its a rocketheme problem because other themes & extensions work fine.

    • Did you resolve this? Same problem...and the "live copy" is now different than the "development" copy I moved to the live server.
