  • Error in Gantry Install

    • I am installing Gantry 5.4.12 in Joomla 3.7.2. I receive the errors:

      Warning
      JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file.
      Error
      Unable to find install package

      I have an older, and looks broken version of Gantry already installed

      Gantry 4.1.12

      Also, it looks like the site is using Rt_alerion. But, currently can't edit the template since Gantry is broken.
      Any ideas on how to update Gantry and getting around this error?

    • Hi there,

      Alerion is built on Gantry 4, so you do not need to install Gantry 5 at all.
      If you want to install it anyways, make sure you use the correct file, it's called: joomla-pkg_gantry5_v5.4.12.zip

      The latest version of Gantry 4 is 4.1.32 and you can download it here: gantry.org/downloads#gantry4
      The file you need is called: gantry_joomla_framework-4.1.32.zip (Gantry Framework Extension)
