I have a query: we have an SSL certificate installed on site which verifies ok.
However I note that one item on the page is referencing a non-secure site. If I run the secured page through
www.whynopadlock.com
, the page passes with only one error.
I too had this issue. I copied the image to my images directory, and then updated the offending file (joomla.css in my case) such that the file was called with relative references, instead of looking for it on an external site.
I tested a alternative and it is working. As per the
www.whynopadlock.com/check.php
results of this check I downloaded the gif file from the given URL bellow and the uploaded to my site and accordingly updated the file path.
Okay, I spoke too soon, it worked as far as checking it on whynopadlock.com but it still shows the "only secure content displayed message". Perhaps I will try the first option.And yes i did try it with the //
