Private Taxonomies showing in Assignments

Hi, I recently ran into an issue with using Yoast SEO plugin on my site with the Gantry framework. The issue is Yoast SEO now uses private taxonomies to do some insight tracking on pages, including logging nearly every word typed into a private taxonomy. The problem is when I go to assignments in the Gantry layout the screen locks up because it tries to load all of these. I can't disable that plugin as it's critical to my performance of the site.
Is there an update to gantry or maybe something I could add to the code that would remove/hide private taxonomies from showing here?

Thanks, seems like its still an open issue then. I tried the fix someone mentioned towards the bottom adding the lines to the assignments.html.twig file but that produced an error.
"Oops, Unexpected "endfor" tag (expecting closing tag for the "if" tag defined near line 54).."
Is there a work around to hide those taximonies from the assignments page?
